Kay Oh Chay – New CD & Logo Release & Branding Illustration

If you’ve ever heard Kelly Authier (aka Kay Oh Chay) perform live, you immediately know she’s an amazing vocalist, song writer, pianist, sexy, sassy, full of soul and wit. You also get BOTH a comedy & music show in one. Kelly (Kay) and her band have racked up an impressive list of accomplishments, including winning the 2017 Canada South Songwriting Competition with their song The Glass, competing in The 31st International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee, being regional finalists twice in CBC’s Searchlight Song Competition, as well as reaching the finals of the Toronto Blues Society’s 2014 Talent Search.The Oh Chays have shared the stage with luminaries such as HOZIER, JANE SIBERRY, OH SUSANNA, WENDELL FERGUSON, PHILIP SAYCE, THE KIRBY SEWELL BAND, CHUCK JACKSON, THE MARIGOLDS, ARIANA GILLIS, and KEN YATES.

As a rising star in the music biz, Kelly desired new professional branding to use on her second CD/EP Release, advertising & swag. Kristine Verbeek, at K Design Studio, was honoured to create a new logo and branding to carry her to the next level and universe of star-dom. She created a ‘Kiss” design with hidden text that expressed Kelly’s sexy, sassy, smart, music passionate, full of secrets, conquer the world spirit. It’s also branded to match her beautiful auburn hair (another unique trademark of Kelly) and an icon she can have A LOT of fun plastering the music scene with!

2 logos were actually created through the process. She unveiled the 1st one this Sat, Nov 8 at her EP Release Party at The Thirsty Butler in Windsor, Ontario to a sold out venue of family, friends & fans. Guest performers also included the amazingly talented Michael (Sugar) Authier, Twisted Sisters and a fellow song writer from her new album. Below are snap shots of her new kiss logo lip smacking all her new swag and the epic eve. The second ‘Singing in the Spotlight” illustrated logo is yet to be revealed.
