What an honour it was to design for I•SPARC (Indigenous Sport, Physical Activity & Recreation Council). K Design Studio was hired to design some fresh jerseys for their Team BC Girls & Boys Hockey Jerseys. These were worn at their National Aboriginal Hockey Championship this past May 2025. Kristine worked closely with Chief Executive Officer, Rick Brant and his committee to bring to life their ideas and symbolic vision.
Congrats to all the players, and the Team BC Girls who won Silver!

Every time I get the chance to work with, and design for First Nations groups, I feel a deep sense of honour. I’m constantly in wonder and filled with curiosity to learn more about the meaning of their beautiful symbols, images, history, language and values with each project.
