Deep Breaths
This was an exciting little poetry book design project for Author Tim Mayeur; second time author. “Collapsed Lung Expressions – Skipping on a Life Line” was published in both soft cover and e-book styles.
The layout design was specifically engineered to help support the visual rhythmic flow of his poetry. He brilliantly wrote 72 pages of poems (average # of heartbeats in a minute), in the vertical formation of heartbeat lines. These series of poems were a cathartic expression and dedication to honour the memory of his sister.
Gan Xiaohua is the contributing illustrator and used the writings as inspiration for the artwork that is included in this book.
