Think Local Logo

Kristine was very proud to volunteer and work along side Tom + Sue Omstead, Ambassadors of Leamington Stands Strong, to create a new “Think Local” logo for all of Essex County; a very worthy initiative to help support her local community.
 
New logo design

 

Leamington Stands Strong was initiated earlier this year by Tom + Sue. Its mission was to help connect locally made products and consumers together to bring positive support into the community, lessening the financial impacts of the closure of their ‘heartbeat’ Heinz. LSS received overwhelming support, and now other local communities are looking to join suit.
 
This “Think Local” logo was designed to visually encompass all of Windsor + Essex County with a thought bubble in the shape of the area. It also includes Pelee + Middle Islands in the dots. The same font, colours + sheild was maintained from LSS, WE (Windsor, Essex County) Stand Strong + Buy Local logos for cohesive branding. (see images below)
 
We wanted to provide a recognizable + memorable logo that local businesses can use in their advertising and on their products. If you are a retailer and would like to receive the vector file to utilize any of these logos, please contact Leamington Stands Strong, leamingtonstandsstrong@gmail.com.
 
We hope to encourage people to not just shop local, but to think, adventure, discover, vacation, promote + LIVE local.

Thank you Kristine Verbeek of K Design Studio for helping us create an awesome “ThinkLocal” image. A ThinkBubble made in the image of Windsor and Essex County. There’s Wheatley, Point Pelee, Pelee Island and Middle Island too. How creative! And it comes just in time to remind people to “ThinkLocal” when shopping for Christmas. Let’s keep those dollars in the local economy folks.
