The final branding stage for Surprize Enterprize Inc. is now complete! Their new playful, info-efficient, ecommerce website is now cohesive with their new branding. It has increased SEO and the Magento powered backend sinks with their inventory system to allow customers to purchase products online, and in turn boost sales and efficiency.

The Nut Job - Movie Poster

Presenting fun new movie poster for TOONBOX Entertainment Inc.

K Design Studio, alongside Inkling Graphic Design & Photography, had the exciting job of conceptualizing a new, eye-catching poster for the upcoming film, The Nut Job - set to launch winter 2012!! This poster needed to emulate the essence of the characters and film: fun, animated, humourous, memorable. We also wanted to show that this movie will be packed full of daring heist adventures and animated personality. The poster features the two main characters, Surly Squirrel and Buddy the Rat, who will make their full feature debut this time next year.

The Nut Job movie is getting much hype after already winning its first award..before its feature film release!
At the Animago Awards Conference in Germany, their short film NUTS & ROBBERS, based on the new movie, won “Best Character Design” amongst a field of submissions from 62 countries, with a total of five final nominees for that specific category.

It’s finally here! K Design Studio, along with Ontario Volleyball Association, is thrilled to announce the launch today of their new Ontario Championships Website.

This website was designed as a one stop shop for everything event goers need to know about the 5th Annual Ontario Volleyball Championships. Users will be able to find important information for clubs and teams, venue and accommodation information, award nomination forms, schedules, results and much more FAST.

The website is WordPress engined, which allows client to self-edit, have strong SEO, and provides them with a blogging section where they can quickly post new event details.

Adventures of Badou!

Babar and the Adventures of Badou illustration project completed for Corus Entertainment®. Was an awesome project which allowed Kristine to dive mouse first into her digital illustration skills + Photoshop palates.

Low res, raw show character graphics were air-brushed, texturized and colour corrected into high quality character files. These lil Photoshop mastered characters will be used in next show style guide to be applied by Licensees on their products sold Internationally.

Stay tuned for full visual samples. They are currently confidential and will be released at time of products in-store. Thanks to Corus for this fun project. Special thanks to Jeremy Kaposy + Keith Morris for their patience + guidance, and Rockin’ Darin Bristow for the referral!
