BRANDING, STATIONERY, STORE SIGN & WEBSITE – Mary Kathryn Ladies’ Shop
 
Mary Kathryn Ladies’ Shop has been located in the heart of Kingsville, Ontario for over 75 years. Anne McLean, the 3rd owner of Mary Kathryn, needed to move her store location. She decided to do an entire rebrand, website and social media update at the same time, since she needed to update all elements with the move. Talk about perfect timing! A mutual colleague referred her to us, and we swiftly helped to create all she needed, under a tight moving deadline with printers, and opening launch date.
 

Anne expressed that her current clientele were mainly seniors, and dedicated. She wanted to ensure her new branding still spoke to them, but she also had many styles that would be ‘fitting’ for young adults. The new branding needed to be more inclusive for all ages of ladies. We knew from her previous branding she liked flowers and nature. We discovered that her favourite flower was a daisy, and she loved the colour black. We smartly designed the new branding to include those elements, but with a fresh, unique and inclusive feel.
 

When designing the branding and sign, we also reviewed and brainstormed over the interior space and colours of the old dance studio she was moving into. We were able to work the beige stucco colouring into the sign to help it visually balance with the space. Anne also did an amazing job matching the interior accents to her new branding colours and incorporated daisies with her new decor and advertising to tie it all together!
 

Along with new logo and signage, we also designed new business cards, sales slips, a simple scroll page website, product photography and helped create her first Instagram account. Training time was also provided to help her jump start her social media.
 
Anne and clients were thrilled with the fresh, new look and her opening week and month was a fantastic success, even during Covid.
