Dolphin Oil Painting – by Kristine Verbeek

Kris officially released some personal art last week into the wild creative world. You can now see her dolphin oil painting, along with the work of many other talented artists, at the Leamington Arts Centre supporting the exhibition, “Breaking Boundaries” until March 31st. Come out and support your local artists!
Her oil painting is named, “Freedom”.

FREEDOM
Hidden deep within
a world so blue
a fluttering release
I found true you

They say that dolphins can show you how to enter into the waters of life and then with breath, sound, love and playfulness call forth from the waters what you desire and need most. They are signs of freedom, strength, happiness and some people think, protective angels.

I felt such joy watching my dolphins come alive…along with my creative soul. Art is my sense of joy, release, expression and freedom.

We all have our boundaries, and challenges we must face. When we truly face our deepest oceans, it allows our fire from within to burn brightly, and fight for what we believe in, and what we know is good and true. As we face our greatest fears, adversities, pains and losses, our soul becomes alive and we can discover more depths, and true personal freedom. We become stronger, wiser, more confident and more beautiful.

We are all beautiful, exactly as we are.
Be free. Be you.
by Kristine Verbeek

NOTE : This painting was created with only 3 colours, white, green and blue, representing the mind, body, and soul, intermixing playfully to create something purely me.
